Arsenal brought the "aliens" from  Barcelona down to earth, and got a beautiful and extremely hard worked victory by Van Persie's goals and Arshavin. David Villa was the man who scored for Barcelona, but the Gunners didn't want to be defeated and were able to score back when no one expected.

Barcelona started the match well, with lots of confidence but the"Gunners" at Arsenal were not far behind. There have been many occasions  for each side, all up to the 26th minute when David Villa managed to open the score in the Emirates. Arsene Wenger was thinking of a solution for recovery. In the 39th minute Messi scores, but his goal is annulled for offside. Barcelona enters in the break with an advantage. It  is announced a sensational second half.


In the second half Arsenal Wenger gives signs of recovery and does thinks too much and makes the first move. In the 78th minute Van Persie restores the equality on Emirates. Barcelona is earthly. With only five minutes later Arshavin  manages to score bringing an advantage over Arsenal,  at only few minutes until the end and the "Gunners"had one more chance to score with Nicolas Bendtner.

The return match is announced to be "on fire", and will take place at the New Camp on the 8th of March. Do not  miss such a  match.

Arsenal and Manchester United marching home!

Manchester United and Arsenal have scored eight goals without receiving any in the league matches played by the two teams at home.
 Manchester United, Premier League leader keeps her undefeated in 2010-2011 season with a convincing 5-0 against Birmingham City's. Basically, the scoreboard showed 0-0 for one minute at Old Trafford Stadium, the Bulgarian strikerDimitar Berbatov, signing the first goal that came after 90 seconds away from the starting whistle of the match. Ryan Giggs has put his name to the list of scorers on the end of the first half, while Nani has set the final score.
 Arsenal went temporarily into second place in the championship, after dashing Aston Villa with a forfait score, on Emirates Stadium. Dutchman Robin van Persie has managed to make a hat-trick for Arsene Wenger's team, missing the goal number four in the match today, after he kicked over the crossbar from a penalty kick in the second half.
Manchester United leads the list with 48 points in 22 games played, followed by Arsenal, with 46 points and Manchester City (both with 23 games) and Chelsea with 38 points in 22 games.
