Real football begins! Today AC Milan - Tottenham in the Champions League 8th rounds!

First leg of the Champions League begins today at 21:45, with the first two games, Milan - Tottenham and Valencia - Schalke. The headline is kept by Arsenal - Barcelona is playing also tomorrow and the other games will take place next week.

For Milan, the best news is the absence of Bale, Inter nightmare rival in the "double" of the groups. The Gaelic has back problems and has missed Tottenham' s last four matches. Tottenham got into trouble! Gareth Bale will not play in the match against AC Milan!

The Welshman  midfielder Gareth Bale, injured to his back, will not play in the match that Tottenham will play  on Tuesday with AC Milan in the first round of Champions League's 8th stage, game in which the Dutchman Rafael Van der Vaart will return .
"I would have liked to scare  AC Milan a little bit and tell them that Gareth has been restored and is available, but he didn't heal yet. It is not a serious injury, but we can not take risks. He is not feeling ready to play," ,said manager Harry Redknapp on Monday morning. In contrast, Rafael Van der Vaart will return, recovering after a thigh injury, that made him miss the match with Sunderland , last weekend.
