  • Carlo Ancelotti's days on the technical bench of the team at Stamford Bridge are numbered, and this time are not mere rumors, says the press in England. Chelsea's elimination from the Champions League by Manchester United has exhausted any chance that the group sponsored by Roman Abramovich had to get a trophy in 2011, so that the Russian tycoon gave the green light to club officials to seek another manager.

The first questioned is the Dutchman Guus Hiddink, currently selector in Turkey. He coached her on Chelsea in a short term in 2009, and, according to the press reports from Istanbul, is not attracted by the idea of a return to London, plus he should first terminate his contract with the Turkish federation.

The Daily Mirror says that Chelsea's players asks Abramovich to bring back  Jose Mourinho, who has three more years of contract with Real Madrid. The Portuguese coached from 2004 to 2007 in Chelsea, was fired after several disagreements with the boss. He recently said he wants to return to England, but that now focuses on the work in the Spanish club.

According to The Sun, nor Mourinho nor Hiddink would go to Chelsea, but Marco van Basten, although the career as coach of the former great Dutch striker is not impressive. Another option is Rafael Benitez, but the Spaniard's playing philosophy  would be liked by  Abramovich. Acquisition campaign that Chelsea is preparing from the summer would cover Gregory van der Wiel of Ajax, Eden Hazard (Lille), Neymar (Santos) and Romelu Lukaku (Anderlecht).
