Jose Mourinho seemed to be already making calculations for the match on Wednesday. Last night at the post-match press conference, Mourinho was keen to stress his team' s good game despite the numeric inferiority but also the fantastic atmosphere at the Santiago Bernabeu:
"It was a balanced match as long as it was played eleven against eleven. A first half that showed that the two teams respect each other and know that their opponent is strong. Then, as often happens, eleven against ten is hard",says Jose, who believes that his team won the match:
" The immediate result for Wednesday is that we played 45 minutes in ten players and people were delighted with the way in which we did.
