The international Welshman Craig Bellamy was arrested today in Cardiff, after two men were injured in an incident last Sunday, around 2:45 local time, on Caroline Street, a notorious area, with an intense night life.The two men, aged 20 and 26, suffered injuries in the facial area.Bellamy plays for a team from his hometown, Cardiff City, that lent him from Manchester City, the team that transferred him from West Ham in January 2009 for 4 years and a half.
One of the club's spokesmen said: "We are aware of the incident in which one of our players was involved over the weekend, but we believe it would be inappropriate to make any comments while the police is still investigating."
