According to their official website, Liverpool agreed with the club from Netherlands for the transfer of Uruguayan international player. Ajax will receive 26.5 million euros for Suarez.
The same source reports that the officials received the permission of the Dutch club to negotiate with the player and its managers.
Luis Suarez has played 108 matches for Ajax, scoring 81 goals. 2009/2010 season was the best of his career, Suarez managing to score 49 goals in 48 matches in all competitions.
