  • Ashley Cole has made another contribution to selling tabloids in Britain, after the incident occurred Sunday in the cantonments at Cobham, where the footballer accidentally shot a student with a 22 mm caliber weapon. A favorite of the tabloids for his many  sexual escapades and conflicts with the law, Cole (30)  wounded Tom Cowan in the rib area. The student received care from the doctors from Chelsea before being transported to hospital.

Cole said he found the gun in the locker room and had no clue that it was loaded. He "was kidding " when he pulled for Cowan. The 21 years old man  is studying sports science near the ground  as a supporter of Chelsea, and to document educational purposes.

The victim has not  filed yet any complaint, but even so Cole could face a 5 years punishment in prison for bodily injury with a firearm that could cause fatal injuries. Daily Mirror reported Monday that Ashley Cole does not feel he should apologize to Cowan, a shocking attitude which seems to be imposed by the footballer's lawyers. If the player asks for forgiveness, it means that automatically recognizes its guilt, and this opens the way for a process that can leave substantial damage. Instead, he can plead for variant in which the episode was an accident in which nobody is guilty.

Cole has been married four years with Cheryl Tweedy, member of the band Girls Aloud, their marriage being marked by her husband's infidelities, surprised at a time while having sex with three women. At the age of 25 years, the defender has released his autobiographical novel entitled "My Defence ", sold well in England, and divorced in 2010, being currently in a relationship with the American model Kayla Collins. Since he became a  multimillionaire after a successful career at Arsenal and Chelsea, Cole has had constant trouble with the law, beginning with fines for public disturbing to criminal record for driving under alcohol's influence. London Police has officially opened an investigation on the Sunday incident .
