Ashley Cole has accidentally shot with an air rifle a supporter that came to attend the Chealsea`s training , informs the English press.
The victim, Tom Cowan, aged 21 years, was following Chealsea`s training for several months and was studying sports science.Tom Cowan was injured at his ribs, and received immediately medical care from Chealsea`s staff.
The player took the gun in the locker room and played with it, without knowing that it is loaded. But the gun fired in the direction of Cowan, who was five feet from Cole, said the English press . The weapon used, a 22 Air Rifle, is a compressed air gun, the strongest which can be purchased without a permit in U.K.
The English press notes that no complaints have been filed and emphasizes that in accordance with English law, Cole risks up to five years in prison.
