The American Financial Group ,which is very close to buy the club from Olimpico, wants to offer Carlo Ancelotti a lifetime deal to make the team in which is legitimized Bogdan Lobont, the main force in the A. Series. According to Corriere dello Sport, Vincenzo Montella is only an emergency solution for the first place in the coaching staff ,after the resignation of Claudio Ranieri and Ancelotti could take his role in the summer, after the imminent breakup of Chelsea.
Ancelotti played ten years for AS Roma, with whom he won the title in 1983, and four years later moved to the great Milan team, where he performed beside stars such as Gullit, Rijkaard, Van Basten, Donadoni, Baresi and Maldini. After the player's career ended, he coached four teams in Serie A, but never Rome, his biggest success being in 2003 and 2007,when he won Champions League.
After nearly two decades in which Rome's team was sponsored by Sensi clan, she will be taken over by a group led by the American businessman Thomas R. DiBenedetto. The deal could be finalized in the next 30 days according to Rome's mare , Gianni Alemanno, who oversees the negotiations. The Americans said that they have other options if Ancelotti will not accept the head coach job , such as the Dutchman Guus Hiddink, and Villas Boas, the coach of FC Porto, Jose Mourinho's ex assistant to the Portuguese club.
