Roy Hodgson: West Bromwich Albion's new coach!

  • 63-year-old Roy Hodgson took over WBA after the dismissal of Roberto Di Matteo. West Bromwich Albion,  ranked 17th in the Premier League, agreed with Liverpool's former coach, Roy Hodgson, who will take over the team after the 27th stage of the English championship that will take place this weekend.
    "West Bromwich Albion is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Roy Hodgson who will be the new team manager. The manager who has passed to Inter Milan, Fulham or Liverpool, has signed a valid contract with the club until June 2012", writes the official site of the WBA.
    The Englishman, who was voted manager of 2010 by his colleagues from Premier League will begin his work at the new team on Monday after the match that the team in which Gabriel Tamas is legitimized will play at home against West Ham. "Michael Appleton, who was appointed temporary coach after the resignation of Roberto Di Matteo, will be on the  team's bench only for the match on Saturday. All our attention is focused on the vital match we will play against West Ham " says the communique .
