The technician of Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho said after Wednesday's qualification into the Champions League quarterfinals, that they would prefer at this stage of the competition to not meet his former band, Chelsea.
"We have qualified because we were better than our opponents. We won at home. We played better. We have not suffered much. We offer a complete game. I am satisfied and quiet. Qualification is normal. At the toss I would prefer to avoid the Chelsea. It's hard to play against friends. Titles do not come from an obsession, but after a hard and collective work . We're on the right track and if the title will not come this year, it will come next year, so I'm relaxed. Teams are better in the second year than the first. Therefore I consider normal the qualification in the quarterfinals. Missing qualification was something abnormal,", said Mourinho .
Spanish team Real Madrid qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals after defeating on Wednesday, at home, with 3-0 the French team Olympique Lyon , in the second leg of the knockout competition. Goals were scored by Marcelo of '37, '66 and Di Maria '76 Benzema.
