Edinson Cavani, one of the most in form players in Europe now can become the protagonist of the biggest transfer ever made in football. According to The Daily Mail, Manchester City wants to offer 85 million pounds, about 100 million euros for the player.

At the age of 24 years, Cavani is the player with the better shape of Napoli  this season, scoring 20 goals in 27 matches in Serie A.

The most expensive player in the world right now is Cristiano Ronaldo, for whom Real Madrid  paid the 94 million euros to Manchester United in 2009.

Cavani is loaned by Palermo to Napoli for a season with a purchase right in the summer, paying 5.5 million euros. To buy him , they have to pay 10 million euros. The deal with City could be made after Napoli will pay  the transfer to Palermo.
