The Chelsea footballer Frank Lampard was left without a driving license for three months and fined for having exceeded the speed limit on a highway in Surrey, in March 2010, informs the newspaper The Sun.
Lampard was caught by radar over the speed limit while driving his car , a Range Rover, in Surrey, on 30 March 2010. He had over 90 miles per hour in an area where the maximum speed was 50miles per hour.
The 32-year-old footballer has admitted his guilt in a letter sent earlier this month to justice, admitting he exceeded the speed limit on the route that he makes almost daily from his home in Kensington at the Cobham training base of Chelsea.
British Justice has decided to suspend the player's license for 90 days and that Lampard will be fined £ 850 and still pay £ 2333 as court costs. Frank Lampard was not present at any of the audiences planned in this case.
