Photo: Adidas has launched the official ball for the Champions League final!

Adidas "Finale London", the new official game ball for the UEFA Champions League, will enter the field on 28 May in London.

The ball was released Thursday by Salomon Kalou from  Chelsea and Samir Nasri of Arsenal , onWembley Stadium.

The ball's design incorporates the famous  logo in a star form of competition and graphics inspired by London, including the UEFA Champions League 2011 logo . Due to their red color and design, the unique star-shaped panels are a subtle reference to the Cross of St. George of the British flag, while the orange star appears as a symbol of London, a vibrant and modern city.

Arsenal midfielder, Samir Nasri said: " Adidas Finale London has a particular design and I really wish I could play with it in the Champions League final in May." Wembley Stadium hosts the finalcompetition for the sixth time in history and for the first time since its rebuild.

"It is a very strong motivation for the participating teams in London to have Champions League final at Wembley Stadium in 2011 and it is great that Adidas has produced a special ball to mark the moment " said Salomon Kalou, Chelsea's striker.

 UEFA competitions director Giorgio Marchetti said: "UEFA Champions League Final is the culmination of football club in Europe and London Adidas Finale, the official ball game and the symbol of the competition,pays a  tribute to the event through its unique design. "

Adidas Finale London is the sixteenth official game ball  produced for UEFA Champions League, continuing the rich history  and evolution of Adidas in football. The ball will be available soon in all Adidas stores.
