  • When Mourinho said his player is  fouled too often by his opponents, everybody believed that Real Madrid's coach is looking for new reasons to explain the Madrid team's inability to stand up  at Barcelona's level. But the Portuguese did not exaggerate! In a top of the most fouled players in the Premier Division this season, the leading scorer on the "Bernabeu" was on the 7th place. The ranking is led by Jose Callejon, Espanyol's striker, who suffered 74 fouls. Cristiano was illegally stopped 58 times, once every 36 minutes played, which is nearly double compared to Lionel Messi. Barcelona's player was ranked 36th in the top , being fouled in 32 lines or, in other words, every 50 minutes in which he appeared on the field.
Beyond the fact that numbers reinforce Mourinho's words, they emphasize the antipathy which Ronaldo 's  attitude produces on the field. The latest example is the verbal conflict thathe had with Osasuna's player, Walter Pandiani, in the 22nd round in Spain.
