Monday evening, with a few hours before the end of the transfer period, Abramovich made a great hit. He bought Torres from Liverpool for 58.5 million euros, the largest sum ever paid on a player from an English team. The Spanish striker, idol on"Anfield"after his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2007, risks becoming a new Figo case .

"I am happy that I signed with Chelsea. It is one of the biggest teams in the world, always fighting for a trophy. It is not ideal for me that we will play against Liverpool after two rounds, but I hope to score.", said Fernando Torres .
