Torres: "I was forced to run away from the chaos at Liverpool and now I am happy at Chelsea!"

"To go from Liverpool was a decision that I thought for a long time, although it seemed like I got it quickly. The best three years of my career were at Liverpool, but after Xabi Alonso  went to Real I started to put myself some questions. "


"I thought Liverpool is best club in the world, but after  Xabi and Mascherano left and before them  Arbeloa and Crouch , I realized it's not .After  Benitez's departure, Liverpool went into the sale chaos and I remembered me of Atletico Madrid: great history, many ideas but no money. And to run a club without money you need time and I did not have much time. 


I could not go to Manchester because I had respect for Liverpool or Real because I played for Atletico and Barcelona did not need a player of my profile. I didn't like the option Italy, and then appeared Chelsea."  told Torres for the Guardian.
