The Argentinian Lionel Messi beat another record after he scored the second goal of Barcelona, in the game won by the Catalans in front of Osasuna, with 2-0. Thus, the striker has come to no more than 50 goals scored in a season for a team in Spain. The previous record belonged to the legendary player of the Real Madrid Ferenc Puskas, with 49 successes.
Messi is Barcelona's fourth place in the top scorers with 177 goals scored in all competitions. The first three places are occupied by Josep Samitier (178 goals), Laszlo Kubala (196) and Cesar Rodriguez (235). In the same game, David Villa scored his first goal after 12 matches when he didn't mark for the Catalans.
